Ramachandran is the founder of Nero Labs and leads its research philosophy, system architecture, and long-term experimental direction. With formal training in wildlife biology and conservation, and prior experience in law enforcement and applied field research, his work is rooted in understanding biological systems as dynamic, interacting processes rather than isolated outcomes.

At Nero Labs, he is responsible for experimental design, protocol development, lineage tracking, ecosystem modelling, and systems validation. His approach emphasises controlled observation, repeatability, and deliberate intervention—recognising inaction as a valid experimental outcome. Nero Labs reflects his broader commitment to building resilient biological systems that prioritizes stability, welfare, and long-term behavior over short-term optimization.

Joint Director | Operations & Facility Management

Naveena has  has been instrumental in building and sustaining Nero Labs from its inception and early operational phase. 

A graduate in commerce, he oversees day-to-day facility operations, feeding regimes, water management, and maintenance protocols.

His consistency, discipline, and hands-on involvement ensure that experimental systems are maintained within defined parameters over long observation cycles. 

Naveena plays a critical role in translating research intent into reliable daily practice, making him central to the functional stability of the facility.

Strategy & Marketing | Technology Advisor

Ajay, provided the initial seed funding for Nero Labs and continues to contribute strategically to its growth. 

An M.Tech graduate and practicing software engineer, he brings a structured, deadline-driven approach to planning, marketing, and execution.

Beyond financial support, Ajay actively assists with branding, outreach, and accountability—ensuring that research ambitions are supported by realistic timelines and sustainable growth strategies.

Collaborating Breeder | Tanganyikan Cichlids

Balakrishna is the founder of Moksha Aquatic and an experienced ornamental fish breeder with over 15 years of hands-on expertise. 

He specializes in Tanganyikan cichlids and is widely respected for his practical knowledge of breeding behavior, lineage stability, and species-specific care.

As a collaborator with Nero Labs, he contributes domain expertise, breeding insights, and practical validation of systems designed for complex cichlid species.

Psychological Advisory | Ethics & Behavioral Perspective

Gitanjali is a trained psychologist and contributes an external behavioral and ethical perspective to Nero Labs. 

While not involved in daily operations, her background informs discussions around stress minimization, behavioral normalization, and welfare-oriented system design.

Her inclusion reflects Nero Labs’ recognition that biological research intersects with behavior, environment, and ethical responsibility—particularly in long-term captive systems.

Technical Support | Plumbing & Maintenance

Santosh is a seasoned hobbyist with hands-on experience across dairy farming, bird breeding, and ornamental fish breeding.

A skilled plumber by profession, he supports Nero Labs with plumbing design, water routing, and maintenance optimization.

His practical understanding of infrastructure and upkeep plays an important role in maintaining reliable, low-failure systems within the facility.

External Advisor | Networks & Conceptual Input

Alok is an independent ornamental fish breeder with strong intellectual curiosity and extensive personal networks. 

While not involved in daily operations, he contributes through conceptual discussions, external linkages, and perspective-sharing around scale, visibility, and opportunity.

His role is advisory and informal, supporting Nero Labs through dialogue rather than execution.

Horticulture & Landscape Systems Advisor

Kiran is the founder of I-Tree India and brings expertise in gardening, landscaping, drip irrigation, and planter system design. 

He has designed several tabletop and modular planter systems and advises Nero Labs on plant integration, irrigation efficiency, and sustainable horticultural layouts.

His inputs support the plant and ecosystem components of Nero Labs’ broader biological systems.

Wellness & Lifestyle Perspective

Surakshith is a certified fitness trainer and contributes informally to Nero Labs through discussions around discipline, routine, and personal sustainability. 

A fitness enthusiast and aquarium hobbyist, he represents the lifestyle and wellness dimension that underpins long-term consistency in demanding research environments.
